Incident by exploring, utilizing a vast number of Japanese Foreign Ministry
Archives and a part of military Archives. The dissertation concludes that
Japanese China policy centering on the North China from the “September 18
th”
Incident to the “July 7
th” Incident is the transition from the
North China policy to the comprehensive aggression against China policy
following the Manchuria-Mongolia policy and the centralized reflection that
Japan comprehensively implemented its Continental policy in the 1930s. The
dissertation expounds the dynamic development of Japanese China policy centering
on North China during 1931-1937 from brewing, forming to implementing,
establishing, and up to readjusting and reestablishing and emphatically analyses
the typical documents of Japanese China policy in the different historical
period. Under the direction of the Marxist war outlook, it expounds and proves
the historical necessity of Japan launching LuGou Qiao Incident and points out
that the overall war of aggression against China launched by Japanese
imperialism starting from this incident is the continuance of the prewar policy
to China. The dissertation examines the historical feature of the Japanese China
policy circling the mechanism, process and content of decision and other aspects
and makes a conclusion that the unified policy finally reached by coordination
and overcoming its inner contradictions which reflected the common aspir
