Abstract: Rationality encounters a destructive critique hitherto unknown in modern reflection, which leads the declination of rational belief. The absoluteness and rigidity of rationality turn thoughts into conceptual mummy, the formalization of rationality constitutes the ontological dimension of the declination of rational belief. While the declination of rational belief also possesses anther reasons such as the bearing capability and the differentiation of cultural purport etc.
